Why You Need To Justify Your Salvation & How To Do It

“You can go down a dry sinner and come up a wet one”.

What it means is that baptism doesn’t save you nor make you a Christian.

Getting baptized is simply a signifier to the rest of the world that you have already received salvation through faith.

However, faith alone does save you nor does it mean you are a Christian. The bible says even the demons believe — James 2:19 (GNT)

And unfortunately, too many believers are walking around as Christians but are no better than demons. They are going down as dry sinners and coming up as wet ones because they fail to realize that while faith brings salvation it must be justified by good works.

In other words,

“So it is with faith: if it is along and includes no actions, then it is dead” — James 2:17 (GNT).

However, matching your actions with your faith isn’t easy.

Having the ability to fully commit to God’s word is a tall order even for the holiest of people because the flesh is weak and the temptation is strong.

And unfortunately, there is no instant way to becoming a better Christian. It’s a process to becoming a better Christian; a lifelong journey.

However, there are simple actionable steps you take today to grow into a better Christian.

Send The Right First impressions

The reason first impressions are so important is that they establish a foundation for how you are to think about someone for a period of time.

Think about it this way; a first impression is like a book cover and everyone that reads. It gives people a peek of what’s on the inside to help them determine whether or not they want to explore more.

Research says you only have 27 seconds to make a good first impression. And if you’re on social media the time to make a first impression is probably even less.
